More than 250,000 votes cast

Ammon News -

More than 255,302 votes have been cast after three hours  in the 19th parliamentary elections, according to the Independent Election Commission. This figure is roughly seven percent of registered voters. 

The highest number of votes were recorded in the southern Badia region, while the lowest percentages were recorded in Amman and Zarqa.

Breaking down turnout figures, the commission said those who voted in the first three hours after polling centers opened at 07:00am included 159,783 males and 92,243 females.
