07-11-2020 09:14 PM

Ammon News -

An ad hoc committee tasked by the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff to upgrade the Royal Medical Services met Saturday to discuss the logistical, technical and manpower situation in military-run hospitals amid the coronavirus pandemic.

The panel, which comprises experts from the Jordan Armed Forces- Arab Army, the Ministry of Health, the private health sector and Jordanian universities, weighed up short- and medium-term solutions to offer optimal health and medical care during the COVID-19.

The committee will look into how to apply the outcome of such meetings in the public and private health sectors and find an integrated mechanism for coordination among all medical entities to positively reflect on the quality of health services to Jordanians.
