Jordan imports 262k barrels of Iraqi oil in October

Ammon News - AMMONNEWS - Jordan imported a total of 262,000 barrels of Iraqi crude oil in October at an average of 8,448 barrels per day, according to the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources.

In a statement on Monday, Minister Hala Zawati said that a total of 3.219 million barrels of Iraqi crude oil were supplied to the Kingdom during September 2019 to October 2020.

She stated that Iraqi tanker trucks were unloaded on the border (back-to-back) in line with the government procedures to curb the spread of the COVID-19.

Jordan purchases Iraqi oil under a memorandum of understanding signed in February 2019.
