Ammon News - AMMONNEWS - Labor Minister, Nidal Bataineh said all private sector employees must download and activate the "Aman" application and their employers or their authorized representatives must also follow up them.

The new amendments and measures aim to activate the plan to deal with pandemics and protect workers and employers in the workplace from the risk of getting infected or transmitting the coronavirus (Covid-19), Bataineh said Monday in a media briefing in the Prime Ministry.

These amendments and measures, Bataineh explained, must be taken in the private sector to prevent and limit the spread of the coronavirus and transmitting the infection in the workplace in light of the current developments of the epidemic situation in coordination and joint cooperation with relevant stakeholders.

The new procedures that define the mechanism for dealing with institutions that record cases of coronavirus have been circulated, calling for providing necessary precautions and measures to protect workers in accordance with the Jordanian Labor Law.
