Ammon News - AMMONNEWS - Five new infections with the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) were recorded in the Kingdom on Monday, according to a joint daily brief issued by the Ministry of Health and the Prime Ministry.
The cases, all non-local, were fore Jordanians coming from abroad, including two from the UAE and two from Saudi Arabia and Qatar, who had been quarantined in hotels designated for this purpose.
The fifth case was a Jordanian truck driver diagnosed on the Omari border crossing with Saudi Arabia. With today’s cases, the Kingdom’s caseload rises to 1,218.
On a more positive note, 32 patients have recorded and were discharged from hospitals. As for testing, 4,332 tests were conducted on Monday, pushing the total to 611,875 so far.
