Prince Ali was speaking during a virtual meeting of the JFA Executive Committee, which he chaired Sunday evening, to look into proposals for the gradual return of football activity in the coming period with the approval of the relevant authorities, and discuss the negative aspects, mainly financial damage, that the local sport incurred after it came to a halt due to the coronavirus pandemic.

Prince Ali called on the JFA officials to follow up on the various measures current being taken by the various world football federations to deal with the pandemic, and the endeavours to resume football activity and mitigate the damage from the suspension of competitions, in order to benefit locally from the most successful procedures.
