Ammon News - AMMONNEWS - Warm weather conditions are expected to prevail in most parts of the Kingdom, except for the Jordan Valley and the Dead Sea where it will be relatively hot, with easterly moderate winds, the Jordan Meteorological Department (JMD) said in its daily update.
A slight rise in temperatures is forecast on Monday, but warm conditions will persist in the hilly areas and the plains, while it will be relatively hot in the Badia, the Dead Sea and Aqaba, with southeasterly moderate to brisk winds, blowing dust in the Badia areas. Clouds will start to build up at various altitudes in the afternoon, making a chance for light showers in the southern and eastern regions, the JMD added.
Tuesday is expected to bring in similar weather conditions with northeasterly moderate winds, the Department noted.
Daytime temperatures expected for today will reach 27 degrees Celsius in Amman, 24 in the northern cities and 23 in the southern governorates, dropping down to 15, 12 and 11 respectively at night. The weather will be warmer in the port city of Aqaba with highs reaching 33 degrees Celsius and lows standing at 21.
