785 random Covid-19 samples test negative in Tafila , Karak and Aqaba says its health director

Ammon News - AMMONNEWS - Karak Health Director, Dr. Ayman Tarawneh, said about 90 random samples were collected from different areas of the southern governorate and all results tested negative, non-infected.
The process of sample collection is still ongoing, using test kits with quick results and high accuracy by the specialized medical staff, he pointed out.
Tafila’s Health Director, Dr. Hamad Rabihat, announced the epidemiological investigation teams in the southern governorate on Sunday, collected random samples from about 245 citizens from the local community, and workers in different sectors, all tested negative.
The random sample-collection measures came to ensure that the southern governorate is free of the Covid-19 pandemic, he added.
The teams' collection operation will cover 600 samples across the various population communities and public facilities, he pointed out.
Aqaba Helth Director, Dr. Ibrahim May’ah, on Sunday announced 450 random Covid-19 samples, collected from different regions of the southern govcernorate, have tested negative.
The epidemiological investigation teams collected random samples from Aqaba city and neighboring areas, with focus on workers in industrial complexes, ports and border crossings, he pointed out.
For two consecutive days, the epidemiological teams in the governorate have collected, and tested the random samples, he added.
