Jordan COVID-19 caseload rises to 323, 13 news cases recorded Saturday

Ammon News - AMMONNEWS - Thirteen (13) new COVID-19 cases were recorded in Jordan on Saturday bringing the total caseload to 323 since the outbreak of the disease in the Kingdom a few weeks ago.
Breaking down the new infections, Minister of Health Sa'ed Jabir said that they include two cases in Irbid, a man quaranitned at a hotel after returning from the UK, a female Royal Jordanian employee, one who came into contact with a confirmed case in Ajloun, five sibilings infected by their father, and three children who contracted the disease from their infected parents.
Speaking at his daily to the media, the minister said 16 cases have recovered.
As of Saturday, the COVID-19 status in Jordan stands as follows:
Total caseload: 323
Recovered cases: 74
Deaths: 5
Active cases: 244
