Ammon News - AMMONNEWS - Director of Public Security Department, Maj.Ge. Hussein Hawatmeh, lauded the distinguished level demonstrated by PSD personnel as they performed their various duties, especially those related to dealing with the novel Coronavirus pandemic, and their strict implementation of all roles assigned to them.

"PSD personnel work with maximum capacity around the clock, and they will not fail to perform their duties in the most difficult circumstances, and we are proud of the distinguished level and great role they play in the field, with the highest levels of professionalism, which reflects their concern for the safety and security of citizens," Hawatmeh said in a security meeting attended by senior officers to discuss plans and actions taken to limit the spread of the virus.

In the meeting, Hawatmeh said work will continue with high determination, in order to succeed in facing challenge to protect the country.

The PSD Director thanked all citizens who showed a high commitment to decisions and orders issued, which aim to protect them from this pandemic, calling for further adherence and cooperation.

Hawatmeh gave directives to increase and intensify patrols, and closing points operating in the field, in coordination with the Jordan Armed Forces (JAF) - the Arab Army, and increase control over neighborhoods and sub-streets to control all violations related to the Defense Law.
