Ammon News - AMMONNEWS - The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates declined reports of a coronavirus-related death for a Jordanian living abroad.
"We have not been formally reported on coronavirus cases among Jordanian citizens abroad," Ministry’s Ambassador, Daifallah al-Fayez, told Jordan News Agency (Petra) on Sunday, noting that the Jordanian doctor, who passed away in Italy last week, was diagnosed with an acute heart attack, not with the coronavirus.
The Ambassador pointed out that consular work in countries experiencing outbreaks
of the coronavirus has been reduced and limited to the necessary cases, as a precaution to preserve the health and safety of Jordanian citizens.
He also affirmed the efforts of the Ministry and the Jordanian embassies abroad to check on Jordanian citizens, and provide them with all possible services.
