Ammon News - AMMONNEWS - The Minister of Interior, Salama Hammad, said:" what happens in the Rumeimain Reform and Rehabilitation Center, by some rioters, impedes the national efforts and all the state's institutions to contain the spread of the coronavirus crisis."

The minister stressed that there will be no tolerance with the prison's rioters, or any other incidents that violate the law, which would distract national efforts aimed at protecting citizens, their safety and preserving their health.

The minister said the strictest legal measures will be taken against the violators.

Hammad stressed that the national state’s efforts are continuing to deal with any emergency or event that might lead to a breach of security and public order, especially as Jordan is currently harnessing all of its national capabilities to ensure the safety and security of citizens due to the spread of the world coronavirus outbreak.
