Domestic transport traffic from seaports, logistic centers, trucks traffic operate as usual

Ammon News - AMMONNEWS - Minister of Transport, Khaled Saif, said that domestic transportation from seaports and logistic centers and truck traffic via border crossings with neighboring countries will operate as usual.
Saif told the Jordan News Agency (Petra) that Carriers should adhere to terms and procedures used to limit the spread of the novel coronavirus (COVID-19), noting that that the land transport sector of goods of all kinds is a basic pillar for all sectors and economic activities.

He explained that the Land Transport Regulatory Commission (LTRC) works continuously around the clock through the carrier service center to address any imbalances that could hinder the movement of trucks in coordination with relevant stakeholders of the Customs and the Aqaba Special Economic Zone Authority (ASEZA).
The Minister lauded efforts of transport sector workers and their vital role in ensuring the provision of all goods according to the market’s need, in light of the current circumstances.
