Ammon News - AMMONNEWS - The King Hussein International Airport (KHIA) in the southern city of Aqaba has decided, on Monday, to suspend all international flights to/from the airport until further notice, according to Aqaba Airports Company (AAC) General Manager Nasser Al-Majali.
In a statement to "Petra", Al-Majali said this decision came in accordance with government precautionary measures to curb the novel coronavirus, noting that the airport is scheduled today to receive five flights from European countries to transport passengers departing from Aqaba to their countries, where empty aircrafts will be arrived at the KHIA for this purpose.
Al-Majali stressed the airport will maintain two flights for the Royal Jordanian Airlines, which will continue its work between Aqaba and Amman, in addition to air freight.
