Rise in temps forecast for two days

Ammon News - AMMONNEWS - A slight rise in temperatures is expected on Sunday to become around their annual average, bringing relatively cold weather in most parts of the Kingdom, and warm conditions in the Jordan Valley and the Dead Sea, with low-altitude clouds and westerly light winds, according to the Jordan Meteorological Department.
The Department expected colder evening with fog formation in the late night hours over the hilly areas.
Mercury levels will rise few degrees on Monday. Therefore, it will be pleasant in most regions, except for the Jordan Valley, the Dead Sea and Aqaba where it will be warmer, with low clouds and westerly moderate winds, the JMD said.
On Tuesday, the Kingdom will be affected by a relatively cold and wet air mass, as temperatures will and partly cloudy to cloudy conditions will prevail with rainfall in various areas of the country, accompanied by hail at times, mainly in the highlands. Winds will be westerly brisk, blowing dust in the Badia regions, the JMD added.
Daytime temperatures expected for today will reach 18 degrees Celsius in Amman and 15 in the northern cities, dropping down to 10 and 6 at night. The weather will be warmer in the port city of Aqaba with highs reaching 24 and lows standing at 15.
