Ammon News - AMMONNEWS - Minister of Interior, Salama Hammad, on Wednesday, discussed with the S. Korean ambassador to Jordan, Lee Jae-wan, ways to develop bilateral relations in areas of mutual interest.
During the meeting, Hammad stressed the "deep-rooted" friendship between the two countries over long periods, and Jordan's keenness to strengthen ties in all fields.
The minister also stressed the importance of building bridges of joint cooperation in the political and economic fields, and increasing the volume of Korean investments in the Kingdom, in addition to exchanging security expertise.
The Korean envoy, for his part, said activating the cooperation level would reflect positively on the mutual interests, especially in the economic, commercial and tourism fields and on establishment of joint investment projects.
He also affirmed his country's keenness to expand cooperation prospects with Jordan in various areas, praising the Kingdom's role in achieving security and stability in the region.
