Ammon News - AMMONNEWS - Temperatures on Wednesday are forecast to slightly increase, with pleasant weather remaining around the country, according to the Jordan Meteorological Department (JMD).
Clouds will appear at high altitudes, and winds will be northeasterly moderate, changing its direction after midnight as rain will fall in the southern region, the JMD added.
Daytime temperatures expected for today in Amman will reach 25 degrees Celsius, 22 degrees in the northern cities and hover around 24 degrees in the southern region, dropping down to 13, 10 and 9 at night, while it will be warmer in the port city of Aqaba with highs reaching 30 and lows standing at 18.
Starting Thursday, the Kingdom will be affected by a dust storm in the forefront of a deep depression centered over Egypt, as dusty conditions will prevail, and clouds will appear at medium and high altitudes, with an opportunity for scattered showers of rain in various regions.
At night, the department said clouds will build up at different altitudes with heavy rainfall that may form floods in the valleys and low-lands, accompanied by thunder storms and hail. Winds will be southeasterly brisk with strong gusts exceeding 100 km/h in some areas.
A tangible in temperatures is expected on Friday, bringing relatively cold and cloudy weather nationwide, with heavy rain, thunder and hail.
