Ammon News - AMMONNEWS - The Ministry of Health (MoH), Wednesday, confirmed that there are no new cases of the novel coronavirus, noting that the only person who tested positive for the virus is in a good condition and is currently receiving medical treatment.
As for the man who has been quarantined, he had tested negative for the virus but is still being monitored.
The MoH pointed out that the number of cases currently in quarantine upon arrival from countries who have reported the virus reached 59, while the total number of those who had been in quarantine and then left after 14 days of isolation and tested negative reached 208 cases.
It pointed out that the two quarantine sites are Al-Bashir Hospital, and a hotel in Amman that was rented by the Ministry of Health to be a site dedicated to quarantine.
Countries from which non-Jordanians are currently denied entry, and Jordanians coming from them are quarantined are China, South Korea, Iran and Italy.
The MoH urged Jordanians and residents to exercise caution and avoid direct contact with any person showing symptoms of respiratory diseases such as coughing and sneezing, and to take preventive measures such as washing hands regularly with soap and covering the mouth and nose when coughing.
