Ammon News - AMMONNEWS - It will be cold and partly cloudy on Thursday with spotty and intermittent showers in the western parts of the Kingdom, the Jordan Meteorological Department (JMD) said in its daily brief.
The highs today will reach 14 degrees Celsius in Amman, 11 in the northern region and 8 in the southern highlands, sliding down to around 5. The weather will be warmer in the port city of Aqaba with the highs reaching 23 degrees dropping down to 13 at night, the JMD added.
Mercury levels will slightly rise on Friday, bringing relatively warm condtions in the Jordan Valley, the Dead sea and Aqaba, while it will remain cold in other parts of the Kingdom. Intermittent rainfall in the late night hours is expected, mainly in the western areas, the JMD forecast.
Temperatures will again on Saturday as cold and cloudy weather with sporadic showers will continue to prevail in various regions, the department further said.
