Ammon News - AMMONNEWS - A slight rise in temperature is expected today marking 3-4 degrees above seasonal average, and bringing fair weather conditions in the Jordan Valley and the Dead Sea, while it will remain relatively cold across most parts of the country, the Jordan Meteorological Department (JMD) said in its daily brief.
On Sunday, the Kingdom is expected to witness unstable weather conditions as temperatures will drop, bringing cloudy skies, rainfall, thunderstorms and northwesterly moderate to brisk winds blowing dust in the desert.
Similar weather conditions will continue on Monday, with scattered showers in the northern and central regions and northwesterly moderate winds.
Daytime temperatures expected for today in Amman will reach a high of 17 degrees Celsius, 14 degrees in the northern cities, and hover around 20 degrees in the southern cities, dropping down at night to 8, 5 and 8 respectively. The weather will be warmer in the port city of Aqaba with highs reaching 28 degrees Celsius and lows standing at 13 degrees at night.
