In a statement, PSD spokesperson said the agents responded to a tip-off about the three suspects who were selling the artefacts for JD200 thousand. "An investigation was initiated to locate the whereabouts of the suspects, who were arrested in their car, while the seized items were sent to antiquities' experts to determine its authenticity and historic value," the spokesperson added.

Ammon News - AMMONNEWS - The Preventive Security Department has arrested three suspects in possession of a set of artefacts in Amman, the Public Security Department (PSD) said Wednesday.

In a statement, PSD spokesperson said the agents responded to a tip-off about the three suspects who were selling the artefacts for JD200 thousand.

"An investigation was initiated to locate the whereabouts of the suspects, who were arrested in their car, while the seized items were sent to antiquities' experts to determine its authenticity and historic value," the spokesperson added.
