Ammon News - AMMONNEWS - Cold weather conditions are expected to prevail on Tuesday in most parts of the Kingdom, while it will be pleasant in the Jordan Valley and the Dead Sea with high-altitude clouds, the Jordan Meteorological Department (JMD) said in its daily report.
The JMD expected partly cloudy and chilly evening with a weak chance of light showers, warning of slippery roads and frost and freeze formation in the late night hours in the highlands and the Badia regions.
Wednesday and Thursday are expected to bring in similar weather conditions with westerly to southwesterly moderate winds, the department forecast.
Daytime temperatures expected for today will reach 14 degrees Celsius in Amman, 10 in the northern cities and 11 in the southern governorates, dropping down at night to 5, 3 and 0 degrees respectively. The weather will be warmer in the port city of Aqaba with highs reaching 19 degrees and lows standing at 10 at night, the JMD noted.
