20-01-2020 04:33 PM

Ammon News - AMMONNEWS - Schools across the Kingdom will delay classes until 9:00 A.M on Tuesday as snowfall is forecast, but the education ministry left it to directors in each region to suspend classes "according to the prevailing conditions to ensure the safety of students and teachers."

The ministry told education directors in the field to communicate and coordinate with local governors in their respective regions to keep up to date on the weather conditions "to take the proper decision".

According to the latest weather forecasts, a polar air mass will cross the Kingdom tomorrow, bringing heavy downpours, hail and occasional snowfall on highlands over 1000 meters as temperatures dip further and frost formation is expected in the late evening hours.
