Ammon News - AMMONNEWS - During a meeting of the Parliamentary Health Committee to discuss the rise in H1N1 "Swine Flu" cases in Jordan, Minister of Health, Saad Jaber said that all health personnel was vaccinated to ensure that they don't be infected with the flu.
He announced that the number of people infected with the flu has risen to 226, while six people were killed of the flu.
"Two deaths were registered in the northern regions of the Kingdom and four deaths in Al-Bashir Hospital in Amman. However, a pregnant woman died of the flu in Karak.
He pointed out that the number of people infected with the flu in Amman reached 81.
The minister stressed that as of today, the price of the Swine Flu vaccine should be reduced to JD5.5 instead of JD11.
The minister stated that the Swine Flu usually spreads in December and lasts until the end of the month.
