Lower House speaker meets Japanese officials

Ammon News - AMMONNEWS - Lower House Speaker Atef Tarawneh met in Tokyo with the Japanese presidents of lower house and House of Councilors, where they discussed ways to further boost cooperation and coordination in the parliamentary field.

Tarawneh also met with Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe, where the latter voiced his country's commitment to achieving its pledges during the London conference.

He also met with a number of Japanese economic figures and officials, as the two sides discussed ways of investment in tourism, and agriculture fields.

Tarawneh laid wreath on during a visit to the Hiroshima Peace Memorial Museum.
