According to the PSD spokesperson, authorities were informed that an anonymous gunman entered a branch of a bank in the governorate and stole some cash at gunpoint and immediately fled the scene. Police launched an investigation to uncover the full details of the incident, the statement added.

Ammon News - AMMONNEWS - A bank was robbed at gunpoint Thursday morning in Mafraq Governorate, some 80 kilometers northeast of Amman, Public Security Department (PSD) Spokesperson said in a statement.

According to the PSD spokesperson, authorities were informed that an anonymous gunman entered a branch of a bank in the governorate and stole some cash at gunpoint and immediately fled the scene.

Police launched an investigation to uncover the full details of the incident, the statement added.
