Ammon News - AMMONNEWS - Normal summer conditions will continue to prevail Tuesday and Wednesday across many parts of the country, while it will be hot in the Jordan Valley and the Dead Sea, the Jordan Meteorological Department (JMD) said on its daily brief.
At night, the weather will be fair in the hilly areas, and moderate in the rest of the country with northwesterly moderate winds, the JMD added.
Daytime temperatures forecast for today in Amman will reach 31 degrees Celsius, 32 in the northern cities and 30 in the southern governorates, dropping down at night to 19 in all places. The weather will be hotter in the port city of Aqaba with highs reaching 41 degrees and lows standing at 27, the JMD said.
Mercury levels will rise few degrees on Thursday, bringing relatively hot weather across the hilly areas and plains, and hot in other parts of the country, with northwesterly moderate winds, the JMD added.
