Ammon News - AMMONNEWS - The national budget deficit decreased to JOD303.7 million in April 2019 compared with a deficit of JOD377.8 million in the same period in 2018, according to the government's fiscal bulletin that was published Monday.

The deficit in the national budget declined even before the grants to some JOD388 million compared with JOD451 million in the same period, it added.

The bulletin pointed out that the forecasted deficit until the end of the year will be around JOD645 million.

Local revenue increased by JOD93 million to some JOD2,480 million toward the end of April in 2019 compared with some JOD2,390 of the same period in 2018.

External grants stood at around JOD85 million compared with merely JOD74 million.

Expenditure stood at around JOD2,870 million toward the end of April, 2019 compared with some JOD2,840 million in the same period in 2018.
