Ammon News - AMMONNEWS - Temperatures are expected to rise on Saturday, but remain around annual average, bringing moderate conditions across many parts of the Kingdom, while it will be hot in the Jordan Valley, the Dead Sea and the Aqaba.
According to the Jordan Meteorological Department(JMD) daily brief, mercury levels will slightly rise over the next two days, but similar moderate weather will continue to prevail with westerly moderate to brisk winds, picking up at times and stirring dust in the Badia region.
Daytime temperatures expected for today will reach 30 degrees Celsius in the capital, 31 in the northern cities and 27 in the southern governorates, dropping down at night to 19, 20 and 17 respectively. The weather will be hotter in the port city of Aqaba with highs jumping to 40 degrees and lows sliding to 28, the JMD added.
