The ministry's consular, operations departments will help these diplomatic missions to carry out their duties, and there will be round-the clock-shifts at them during the holidays for emergencies.

The Ministry's Spokesperson, Sufian Qudah, said this step comes as part of the ministry's commitment to raise the level of consular services in the Kingdom's diplomatic missions and to "impose additional measures" prior to the holiday of Eid al-Fitr to enable citizens in expatriate countries to complete all consular transactions, especially in cities where there are big Jordanian communities.

These measures are a translation of the ministry's vision to provide all efforts to serve the Jordanian expats and visitors to the Kingdom, and to discuss ways to facilitate providing consular services more efficiently and to carry out expatriate transactions easily and effectively, he pointed out.
