Ammon News - AMMONNEWS - Head of the State Security Court (SSC), Col. Judge Mohammed Afif, said on Tuesday that he will continue to investigate the " tobacco case" next Tuesday and hear a number of prosecution witnesses as well.
Until yesterday, the court heard 16 prosecution witnesses in the case of the total 141 witnesses, Afif told Petra in an interview on Thursday, adding the case also involves 29 defendants,including 6 still at large, and one died, as well as 24 companies, including 22 owned, or registered, or represented by 22 suspects in the case, and two companies registered on behalf of two prosecution witnesses.
The SSC began to try suspects in the "tobacco case" on Tuesday, March 12.
