New real estate measures go into force

Ammon News - AMMONNEWS - Director General of the Land and Survey Department Moen Sayegh Monday asked land registration directors across the Kingdom to start implementing a set of measures issued by the cabinet recently to stimulate the real estate market.

The Council of Ministers has issued a package of measures, including exemptions of fees, lowering the basic price offering of real estate by 20 per cent and introducing a four-dunum land parceling system, which are intended to prop up transactions in the real estate market.
