Ammon News - AMMONNEWS - Sunny and moderate weather conditions are expected on Sunday in the hilly areas, the plains and the Badia regions, while it will be relatively hot in other parts of the Kingdom as temperatures rise above their seasonal average.
According to Jordan Meteorological Department (JMD), a further rise in mercury levels is forecast on Monday, becoming 4-5 degrees above their annual average. Therefore, it will be relatively hot across many areas of the country, while it will be hot in the Jordan Valley, the Dead Sea and Aqaba.
At night, the weather will be moderate nationwide with north westerly light winds.
Temperatures will continue to rise on Tuesday, registering 6-7 degrees above their average a this time of the year and bringing hot conditions across the country with northwesterly winds, the department added.
Daytime temperatures expected for today in Amman, the northern and southern areas will hover around 29 degrees Celsius dropping down to 17,16 and 14 degrees respectively at nigh. The weather will be hotter in the port city of Aqaba with highs rising to 38 degrees and lows sliding to 23, the JMD said further.
