Crown Prince joins young volunteers participating in national clean-up campaign

Ammon News - AMMONNEWS - His Royal Highness Crown Prince Al Hussein bin Abdullah II on Saturday joined young volunteers in Husban Forest, who are participating in the national clean-up campaign, launched as part of Urdon Al Nakhwa initiative.

In its current cycle, the clean-up campaign is targeting tourist and archaeological sites that are part of the Jordan Trail, as well as public parks and areas.

The campaign is implemented as a joint national effort among public and civil society institutions, as well as youth initiatives and commissions around the Kingdom.

During his participation, Crown Prince Al Hussein stressed the importance of promoting volunteerism to serve Jordan, calling for supporting the tourism sector by ensuring that tourist, archaeological, and public sites continue to attract domestic and Arab and foreign tourists.

The national clean-up campaign, which is also aimed at promoting an environmentally friendly culture and civic engagement, was launched last month and will continue until the end of the year around Jordan.
