Ammon News - AMMONNEWS - A tangible rise in temperatures is expected on Sunday, becoming 4-5 degrees above their annual average. Therefore, it will be relatively hot in the hilly areas and the plains, while it will be hot in other parts of the Kingdom with southeasterly moderate winds.
According to Jordan Meteorological Department (JMD), similar weather will continue to prevail on Monday with clouds at various altitudes and a chance for light showers in the evening in the northern and eastern areas.
Winds will be southeasterly moderate to brisk at times in the Badia area, the JMD said.
Mercury levels will again on Tuesday, creating moderate conditions in most areas of the country, while it will be relatively hot in the Jordan Valley, the Dead Sea and Aqaba with clouds at various altitudes and a chance for light showers in the southern regions. Winds will be north westerly moderate to brisk, blowing dust at times,the JMD added.
Temperatures for today in Amman, the northern and southern areas will hover around 29 degrees Celsius, dropping down at night to 19, 20 and 18 degrees respectively. Mercury levels in Aqaba will register a high of 37 dropping down to 28 degrees at night.
