Warm, sunny days lie ahead

Ammon News - AMMONNEWS - A slight in temperatures is expected Tuesday, but warm weather will remain in many parts of the Kingdom, while it will be relatively hot in the Jordan Valley and the Dead Sea, the Jordan Meteorological Department (JMD) said in its daily brief.

Clouds may appear at high altitudes and winds will be westerly moderate, the JMD added.

Daytime temperatures expected for today in Amman and the northern cities will reach 28 degrees Celsius, dropping down to 15 degrees at night. The weather will be hotter in the port city of Aqaba with highs reaching 36 degrees Celsius and lows standing at 21, the JMD noted.

Mercury levels will rise again on Wednesday, bringing warm conditions in most regions, while it will be hot in the Jordan Valley, the Dead Sea and Aqaba with westerly moderate winds, the department further added.

On Thursday, temperatures will continue creating relatively hot weather across many parts of the country, while it will be hot in the Jordan Valley, the Dead Sea and Aqaba with a chance for scattered showers. Winds will be southeasterly to southwesterly moderate to brisk at times, blowing dust in many areas, the JMD added.
