Ammon News - AMMONNEWS - A slight rise in temperatures is expected Monday to become 3-5 degrees above annual average, bringing warm conditions in most regions while it will be hot in the Jordan Valley, the Dead Sea and Aqaba, the Jordan Meteorological Department (JMD) said in its daily brief.
Clouds may appear at high altitudes and winds will be northwesterly moderate, the JMD added.
Daytime temperatures expected for today in Amman will reach 29 degrees Celsius, in the northern cities 28 and 27 in the southern cities, dropping down to 16, 15, 14 respectively . The weather will be hotter in the port city of Aqaba with highs reaching 37 degrees Celsius and lows standing at 22, the JMD said.
Warm, sunny conditions will continue to prevail over the next two days across many parts of the country, while it will be relatively hot in the Jordan Valley. Clouds will still be seen at high altitudes with northwesterly moderate winds, picking up in the afternoon, the JMD added further.
