Ammon News - AMMONNEWS - Spring-like weather is expected to prevail Sunday in most regions while it will be relatively hot in the Jordan Valley and the Dead Sea, the Jordan Meteorological Department (JMD) said in its daily brief.
Medium clouds are also expected, especially in the eastern parts of the country, while winds will be westerly moderate, the JMD added.
Daytime temperatures expected for today in Amman will reach 27 degrees Celsius, 26 degrees Celsius in the northern cities and 24 degrees Celsius in the southern cities, dropping down to 15 and 8 at night respectively. The weather will be hotter in the port city of Aqaba with highs reaching 36 degrees Celsius and lows standing at 21, the JMD explained.
A slight rise in temperatures is expected on Monday becoming above their annual average by 4-5 degrees. Therefore, warm weather will prevail in most regions while it will be hot in the Jordan Valley and the Dead Sea with northwesterly moderate winds.
Mercury levels will slightly on Tuesday, but the weather will stay warm in most regions with north westerly moderate winds picking up at times.
