Ammon News - AMMONNEWS - Prime Minister Omar Razzaz and ministerial team members on Monday signed a one-million-signature campaign document to combat narcotics and the so-called festive firing
During a session of the council of ministers, Razzaz emphasized that the government fully supports the initiative aimed at protecting the society from all "menaces and evils" especially the drugs issue and its negative and destructive impacts on the society, youth in particular, and the phenomenon of using firearms in special occasions and weddings.
The council commended efforts exerted by the Public Security Directorate (PSD) in raising awareness in the society on the dangers such phenomena pose, as well as its continued effort in tackling these malpractices and resolutely enforcing the law on everyone.
The PSD has launched two initiatives so far to combat narcotics and festive firing. To activate the initiatives, the PSD is organizing a campaign to raise a million signature to express the people's refusal of such phenomena.
