Foreign Ministry condemns Sri Lanka bombings

Ammon News - AMMONNEWS - The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates on Sunday strongly condemned the terrorist attack that targeted a number of churches and hotels across Colombo in Sri Lanka on Easter Sunday.

A series of bomb blasts claimed the lives of over 100 people and resulted in the injury of more than 250 others.

The Foreign Ministry's Spokesperson, Sufian Qudah, affirmed Jordan's solidarity with the Sri Lankan government and people in the face of terrorism and violence that target the safety and stability of Sri Lanka.

He expressed his condolences over the victims and wished the injured a speedy recovery, stressing the Kingdom's firm stance against all forms of violence and terrorism.
