Ammon News - AMMONNEWS - Prime Minister Omar Razzaz met on Thursday at the Prime Ministry with Deputy Prime Minister of Qatar and Minister of State for Defense Affairs Khalid bin Mohammed Al Attiyah and the accompanying delegation.
Discussions during the meeting stressed the "deep-rooted and distinguished" bilateral ties that have the support of His Majesty King Abdullah and Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, and ways to develop and boost them in various fields to serve interests of the two countries' peoples.
Razzaz affirmed the robust and historical Jordanian-Qatari relations, and the advanced level of cooperation they have reached, pointing to the importance of building on what has been achieved over the last decades, and investing collaboration opportunities available in the various fields.
The premier also expressed the government's keenness to expand joint cooperation prospects to serve the common interests, utilizing the mutual opportunities, and exchanging expertise, especially in the areas of education, employment, services, and defense training.
For his part, Deputy Prime Minister Attiyah described as "very positive" his visit to Jordan, during which he checked firsthand on the condition of joint cooperation in a number of sectors.
He hailed the "historic and deep-rooted" relations and the "great" bilateral collaboration that dates back to many decades.
Attiyah affirmed his country's keenness to increase prospects of joint cooperation to cover new areas that would serve the two countries' interests, lauding the Jordanian expertise in the military, defense and security fields.
In this context, he voiced the "serious" pursuit to benefit from the Jordanian expertise.
