Ammon News - AMMONNEWS - Relatively cold weather will prevail on Thursday in the hilly areas and the plains, while it will be moderate in other parts of the Kingdom with clouds at low altitudes, according to Jordan Meteorological Department (JMD) daily brief.
Winds will be northwesterly moderate to brisk with a chance for light showers in the northern regions, the JMD said.
Daytime temperatures expected for today will reach 17 Degrees Celsius in Amman and the northern governorates, 15 in the southern cities, dropping down to 6, 8 and 5 respectively. The weather will be warmer in the port city of Aqaba with highs reaching 29 degrees Celsius and lows standing at 16 degrees at night, the JMD said.
Similar relatively cold and cloudy conditions will continue over the next two days with the remaining chance for scattered showers in the northern areas, extending to other regions, while winds will be westerly moderate to brisk, blowing dust in the desert, the department noted.
