Ammon News - AMMONNEWS - Temperatures are expected to tangibly on Tuesday, becoming 4-6 degrees below their annual average and bringing relatively cold and cloudy weather with scattered rain across the Kingdom, according to Jordan Meteorological Department (JMD) daily brief.
Heavier rain accompanied by thunder is also expected in the northern regions, while winds will be westerly to brisk, stirring dust in the Badia areas, the JMD added.
Daytime temperatures expected for today will reach17 Degrees Celsius in Amman, 16 in the northern governorates and 15 in the southern cities, dropping down to 8, 9 and 7 respectively. The weather will be warmer in the port city of Aqaba with highs reaching 27 degrees Celsius and lows standing at 18 degrees at night, the JMD said.
Similar relatively cold conditions will continue to prevail over the next two days in the hilly areas and plains, while it will be fair in other parts of the country with low clouds and a chance for light showers in the northern areas . Winds will be westerly to northwesterly moderate to brisk, the department noted.
