Ammon News - AMMONNEWS - Temperatures are expected to slightly Wednesday, but the weather will remain pleasant and sunny in most regions and warm in the Jordan Valley and the Dead Sea, the Jordan Meteorological Department (JMD) said in its daily brief.

Clouds will appear at low and medium altitudes in the northern and central regions, with a slight chance for scattered showers in the northern parts, the JMD added.

Daytime temperatures expected for today in Amman, the southern cities and the northern cities will hover around 18 degrees Celsius, dropping down at night to 8, 6 and 9 respectively . The weather will be warmer in the port city of Aqaba with highs reaching 30 degrees Celsius and lows standing at 16, the JMD explained.

Sunny and pleasant conditions will continue to prevail on Thursday in all parts of the Kingdom, with northwesterly moderate winds.

Mercury levels will rise again on Friday, bringing spring-like and sunny conditions with easterly moderate winds, the JMD said further.
