Ammon News - AMMONNEWS - A slight rise in temperatures is expected today, bringing warm spring weather conditions with clouds at different altitudes, the Jordan Meteorological Department (JMD) said in its daily brief.
The chances for scattered showers will remain in the early morning hours in different parts of the country, and may be accompanied by thunder at times, with westerly moderate winds picking up at times and stirring dust in the desert.
Daytime temperatures expected for today in Amman will reach 22 degrees Celsius, and in the northern and southern cities 23 degrees Celsius dropping down to 12, 13 and 9 respectively at night. The weather will be warmer in the port city of Aqaba with highs reaching 31 degrees Celsius and lows standing at 21, the JMD explained.
Another rise in temperatures is forecast tomorrow, and the weather will continue to be warm and pleasant in most regions, with clouds at medium and high altitudes and a chance for scattered showers in the southern parts.
Sunny and warm weather conditions will continue to prevail on Tuesday in all regions, with southwesterly moderate winds.
