Ammon News - AMMONNEWS - A slight in temperatures is expected Thursday, creating cold conditions across the country with clouds at low altitudes, the Jordan Meteorological Department (JMD) said in its daily brief.
At night, scattered showers are expected to fall in the northern and central regions, while winds will be northwesterly moderate picking up at times.
Daytime temperatures expected for today in Amman will reach 14 degrees Celsius, 15 Celsius in the northern cities and 12 in the southern governorates, dropping down at night to 6 and 5 respectively. The weather will be warmer in the port city of Aqaba with highs reaching 24 degrees and lows standing at 13, the JMD explained.
Stable weather will continue nationwide tomorrow, as it will be cold in most regions and relatively warm in Aqaba and the Jordan Valley, and winds will be northwesterly moderate.
On Saturday, temperatures are expected to slightly rise and the weather will be pleasant in most parts of the country and warm in Aqaba and the Jordan Valley, the JMD added.
