Ammon News - AMMONNEWS - British Ambassador to Jordan Edward Oakden has said that Jordan has "real opportunities" it can showcase at the much-anticipated London Initiative 2019 conference slated for February 28th in London.

In a statement to the Jordan News Agency (Petra), the envoy emphasized that the event, which is dedicated to supporting investments in Jordan and its economy, provides an avenue to approach donors and access finance and investment majors.

Following the bold steps the Jordanian government has taken, Oakden added, it has become important to familiarize foreign investors of the ample opportunities available in the Kingdom, which seeks to arrive at self-reliance and spur sustainable growth.

He stressed that Jordan is on the right track and maintains vast potential in tourism, technology as well as logistics, adding that Jordan's economic woes will not continue and will eventually be removed.
