Ammon News - AMMONNEWS - The Lower House of Parliament on Thursday endorsed the 2019 state budget bill by a majority of 60 lawmakers out of 105 who attended the debate.
The legislature also passed the draft budgets of independent public institutions after 65 deputies out of 105 voted in favour of the bill.
After a heated debate, one lawmaker rejected both bills and came forward on behalf of his block with a proposal to turn down both legislations, but his motion was withdrawn after only 24 of 102 representatives backed him.
Over the course of four days, the chamber held 7 sessions during which 105 representatives took to the podium to present their notes on the two bills. They aired their constituencies' needs of services and other demands related to the economy and administration.
