The source said an army unit engaged a group of six persons while trying to infiltrate the borders, killing some of them and arresting the rest. Further, the army thwarted two attempts to smuggle in more than 430,000 Captagon pills (Fenethylline) and other narcotics including tramadol and hashish.

Ammon News - AMMONNEWS - An army unit on the eastern frontiers on Sunday foiled an attempt to infiltrate the Kingdom's borders and also thwarted two attempts to smuggle in large quantities of narcotics, according to an official source at the Jordan Armed Forces-Arab Army.

The source said an army unit engaged a group of six persons while trying to infiltrate the borders, killing some of them and arresting the rest. Further, the army thwarted two attempts to smuggle in more than 430,000 Captagon pills (Fenethylline) and other narcotics including tramadol and hashish.
