Ammon News - AMMONNEWS - Ministry of Public Works and Housing crews and a contracting company on Tuesday reopened the Dead Sea-Aqaba Road after its closure by flash floods that swept the Dead Sea last week and forced the collapse of a bridge.
Traffic on the highway was back to normal after the construction company built an alternative detour following the bridge's collapse early Friday.
The bridge is more than five kilometers from Zarqa-Maen, the site where 21 people, mostly schoolchildren, were killed in the flashfloods.
